December 2019 — The UNLV PGA Golf Management University program is housed in the heart of UNLV within the recently completed flagship academic building Hospitality Hall. The $3.06M, 4,200 square foot golf center is home to a leading PGA Program in the country. The golf center has been named after UNLV Men’s golf coach Dwaine Knight.
The UNLV PGA Golf Management Program has taken a strong stance on the importance of community service and ensuring that the 100 students with the program understand the importance as well. As program requirements, PGM students must volunteer a minimum of 10 service hours each semester. Since fall of 2012, the program and its students have volunteered over 7,000 hours across 52 unique events in Southern Nevada.
The UNLV PGA Golf Management Program continues to lead the country among colleges and universities that house PGM programs and it’s students benefit from job placement and premium compensation for it’s alumni.
