The participation and support of these corporate sponsors and golf courses helps support the future of golf across our state.
As you may know, the Nevada Golf Alliance was created to provide one unified voice for the future of golf in Nevada. We are a coalition of golf courses, professionals, allied associations, and supporting businesses who have come together to promote and protect the game we all love.
Like many industries, golf faces ongoing challenges—from legislative pressure to environmental and economic concerns. One of the most pressing issues we’re navigating is water. The Alliance is actively engaged in conversations with regulators and policymakers to ensure golf remains a responsible steward of water resources while also preserving the playability and sustainability of our courses.
To support those efforts, one of the most important tools we rely on is a comprehensive economic impact study, compiling data from golf courses that show what the total economic impact the golf industry creates for the state of Nevada. The last study was done in 2019 (pre Covid) and this study showed a direct and indirect impact of $1.9 Billion dollars per year generated by the golf industry. This research helps demonstrate the positive role golf plays in tourism, employment, land use, and community value across Nevada—and it’s a critical part of how we advocate on behalf of our industry. These studies are costly, and your support at this tournament helps make this vital work possible as we gear up for another study. Whether you played, donated, or simply helped spread the word—thank you. Events like this not only raise funds but also reinforce the strength and passion of our golf community here in Southern Nevada.
We look forward to continuing this momentum and hope you’ll remain engaged as we work to grow and preserve the game for generations to come.
With sincere appreciation,
Eric Dutt
President, Nevada Golf Alliance
