Continuing education is a critical component within anyone’s professional career. Taking advantage of educational opportunities is a responsibility we have to ourselves, our employers, and those that report directly to us at any given point.
In 2024, the Club Management Association of America (CMAA) brings their World Conference & Club Business Expo to Las Vegas from March 4-8. Mandalay Bay Resort will host this year’s conference as golf industry professionals from across the country come to Las Vegas to attend world-class educational courses, hear dynamic professional speakers and network with cohorts from across all aspects of the golf industry.
Desi Speh, General Manager/Chief Operating Officer of Desert Highlands in Scottsdale, Arizona is the Southwest Chapter’s CMAA Liaison with the CMAA National office. Desi and his team of Southwest Chapter industry professionals are working diligently to develop programming, curriculum, and experiences to enhance attendees’ opportunities to meet their educational and professional needs.
As a board member of the Nevada Golf Industry Alliance and the Southwest Chapter CMAA, I encourage each one of you reading this note to review the opportunity to attend the 2024 conference and get involved professionally with CMAA.
